The Great Escapes and Counters DVD by Gustavo Machado

Must have instructional

Man it just goes on and on. I feel like a black now knowing all these escapes. People ask me how did I learn so much.
For one thing it teaches you the submission first and then the counter so it's like two DVDs in one.
Actually I don’t want other people knowing about this or having this DVD.

All white Belts need this DVD learn to Survive first, worry about submissions later.GREAT VIDEO!

a lot of great escapes

As the name says, a lot of great escapes from every position and very easy to do them.

high quality video instruction

high quality video instruction and excellent techniques. Escapes are so important because there's nothing worse than getting caught in a triangle and your one escape technique is countered. Saulo Ribeiro's book on BJJ posit that a blue belt should focus on survival first. You have to be able to fend off attacks. Nothing is worse than fighting a bigger, stronger, more athletic opponent and your attacking game is nullified. It's very solid.
