Most relatively new DVD players have the ability to convert signals from NTSC to PAL or vice versa. We sell NTSC and PAL DVDs to customers all over the world on a daily basis without much problem. I just bought this DVD yesterday! In the interest of full disclosure, I am fortunate to have Samuel as my good friend and my jiu jitsu coach so I have some bias. But this DVD is well thought out and organized with great production value, so an honest review of "The Original Berimbolo" is easy to write.

I thought that, because I train with Samuel, his DVD would contain material very familiar to me. In fact, I realized quickly just what I did not know about the berimbolo. Samuel starts with great introductory material on the De la Riva guard, and moves on to variations of the berimbolo with details I have not seen in other places, shared clearly and concisely. The length of the DVD is long enough to present a great introduction with some advanced details, but short enough to avoid redundancy and filler material present on so many other instructionals.

Whether you have never "berimboloed" or it's a staple of your game, you will learn a lot from Samuel's DVD. Even if you’re not a fan of modern jiu jitsu, you should know something about the berimbolo if you want to protect your back! Thank you Budovideos and thank you Samuel!
