Nogi sweeps has always been my weak point. I'm not a big buy so I often get stuck on bottom. Chris show lots of options on how to sweep and get to the back. Lots to work on now :)

good dvd! all seem very usuable but moderately basic. nothing really advanced here.

The DVD is produced very well and the cover is astheticly pleasing but thats were the compliments stop. Chris Brennen rushed threw the moves and does not give good detailed instruction. He will show the move twice slowly and then three or so times at full speed. He does not talk about if the opponent tries to stop the sweep or how to control the opponent. Chris fails to talk about proper grips and how to set up any of the sweeps. For the $40 I paid, i was very disappointed.

I have been trained jiu jitsu for about 7 years and i traveled a lot and I rolled with a lot of experience guy, I learned a lot of techniques and sweeps, this dvd is the most impressive and clear introduction for no gi sweep that i have ever seen, although it's simple and basic but the techniques are very effective. I will recommend for every one .

This dvd have the same techniques as the Freestylke Serie. Not so rich of stuff.I trained with Mr. Brennan and he shows good stuff but always the same!

I don't understand how the other reviewers are giving this less than 5 stars. The information is totally solid, easy to follow, and most importantly incredibly effective for any No Gi grappler! In my opinion the ideal audience that would gain the most form this is Blue and Purple Belts, maybe Brown if you haven't committed to a lot of time No Gi. The way Chris Brennan instructs is energetic, enthusiastic, incredibly clear, to the point, with no BS or fluff in between. It's pure action and technique taught by a great No Gi Jiu Jitsu player. Each move is shown from start to finish, the shown again (a totally different take is used) from another angle, and then again one more time from another angle, with Brennan stressing the key point each time. Like other videos shot by Budo Videos, this follows their formula of repetition for each technique so you are absolutely certain to catch every angle and detail.
