I agree he uses alot of his moves that he uses in competition, although some may seem simple he goes into detail why is it that they work or wouldn't work if you do it a certain way

I like this DVD a lot. It certainly isn't for beginners but is great for people with a solid knowledge of the basics. I like the fact that Andre shows moves that I have seen him use in competition. I was able to implement several moves into my game already. IMO, the bullfighter passes and back takes are worth the price alone...simple yet effective. There is an English translator which may be important to some.

I don't like the fact that they need to use 5 DVDs for the amount of info that they show. But not a big deal.

I'd say buy if you are blue belt or higher.

Awesome! Even for white belts I think they can adapt. Will defenitely give you an edge on competion. Very well explained and why he does what for him. And that of course can help.

i liked this one because galvao talks about what his thoughts and gameplan is on the subject. it's helpful to know the clear goal of a transition or position.

This DVD incorporates moves that Andre utilizes in tournaments. Very detailed instructions that captures the moves from various angles giving the viewer a more in depth understanding on how to properly execute the maneuver. This DVD is an asset to any Jiu Jitsu practitioners arsenal. However, I would not recommend this DVD to beginners. If you are a blue belt or higher, this is worth every single penny (plus shipping and handling). Andre Galvao is an amazing Jiu Jitsu practioner!

I was skeptical about buying this set after reading the reviews on Cobrihna's set and then I figured it's Glvao how can you go wrong and purchased it anyways. The bottom line is this set is amazing! Don't get me wrong production wise it's not that good but going beyond production and the monotoned translater and getting to the heart of what is covered on these DVD's any BJJ practictioner can pick up a few new details and improve their game with this set. Heck I wanted to keep it a secret but classmates pick up on when you bring new moves to the mat. See you on the mat!

This is an excellent and I mean an excellent DVD. It shows you entries, variations, approaches and then some. Instead of giving you 10-20 moves step by step it opens great many opportunities for you to explore for your self. Reflecting the true spirit of Galvaos's jiu jitsu. A MUST HAVE for anybody who wants to improve their game.

I see his ability, I love his style, I for sure can't argue how good he is..... these DVDs put me to sleep, literally. He needs to beat the crap out of the guys who put this together, sorry if they are your friends. I can't watch 2 of them in a row without nodding off.... it's got to be some subliminal trick or something... it's a conspiracy against me... hahaha...

But if you can get past that the information is very good.
