Aikido and Brazilian Jiu Jitsu blackbelt Roy Dean presents a comprehensive overview of wristlocks on this 2 DVD set. Disc I covers 7 basic techniques of Aikido, clearly explained and demonstrated, including variations influenced by Roy Dean’s training in Japanese Jujutsu and BJJ. Wristlocks specifically for groundfighting are detailed, with every technique shows having had proven success against resisting opponents. Blackbelt demonstrations in aiki arts and competition footage with wristlocks are also included.

Disc II contains 3 seminars held at the beautiful Yosokan Dojo in Monterey, California. The first covers basic BJJ techniques and their correlation to Aikido movements. The second connects standing wristlocks with BJJ groundwork, and the third is a no gi grappling clinic that explores footlocks and lower body submissions.

Format:	DVD NTSCNTSC is the standard video format used in North America and parts of Asia. This DVD will play on any standard DVD player in North America or other country where NTSC is used. Most relatively new DVD players have the ability to convert signals from NTSC to PAL or vice versa. We sell NTSC and PAL DVDs to customers all over the world on a daily basis without much problem. Occasionaly there are a few customers with older set top DVD players that cannot do a signal conversion. If you have any doubts about the ability of your DVD player to properly convert the signal, please referance your manufacturer's instruction manual. Because a computer is neither PAL nor NTSC, you should have no problem playing an NTSC or PAL DVD on your computer.

I received this DVD as a gift. I have been in Jiu-Jitsu for a year now and am always looking to step up my game. I received this not knowing if it would actually help. It has been absolutely great! These wristlocks have been an amazing help to my game. The best part about the info on the DVD is that it is not widely used. Now when I roll with people, I have a weapon that is seldom seen. This DVD, once I get the locks down a little better, should help immensely in competitions because they will be unexpected. Trust me when I say, pick this up. It will really help your BJJ game or perfect your Aikido.

I've only managed to go through the first DVD so far but have been impressed by the quality of production and the general usefulness of the material. Can't wait to go through the second DVD.

the only thing good i can say about this dvd is that the production value is high. if you are buying this for jiu jitsu, it is a complete waste. there is only about 10mins. of actual wristlock instruction from the ground and half of that is just the gooseneck off of the armlock. everything else is either straight aikido or advertisements for other dvd series. if you are buying this for aikido, i'm sure there are way better instructionals available.
