Whether your fluent in Japanese or not, this book is an excellent insight for any koryu practioner into the Tennen Rishin ryu method of kenjutsu. Traces back into the history of the ryu through to the Shinsengumi (complete with images of Kondo Isami). The photos involved are consistant and comprehensible on a step to step basis, I feel positively reflecting the strong spirit of the style. I think a beginner can interprete this just as well as an advance practioner alike. Recommended- as there is a reason this item is commonly out of stock!
