Very repetitious in the instruction and speaking, but the value of the technique is worth it. If you have no idea about how judo works, it would be best to get some insight before you try the takedowns.

Almost everyone thinks Judo can not be used in a MMA match, well this set will change your perspective about it. Very nice moves, a little too pricey though, but definitively a good buy.

Karo is a good teacher, and covers a lot of important details and what ifs. Unfortunately, the repetition is a bit much and makes the set slow to watch.

The presentation here seems a bit unplanned and Karo will win no awards for public speaking however the material here is outstanding and very practical. Karo is a wizard on the mat, teaching important ways of linking traditional judo techniques to the demands of MMA.

This was a nice set. Karo goes in-depth on many high-percentage throws, and includes some setups and follow-ups for them. For the purposes of efficiency, though, I think if they'd cut out the repitition, the set would be 2/3's as long as it is.

Excellent because it is thorough, however, only worth 4 stars because he does not cover ENOUGH throws. I think there are 5 and a disc of submissions. While the detail on each of the 5 is fantastic, I would have preferred maybe 8-12 throws, nixing the submissions and kimura segments to make room. Just an opinion, overall I loved the material though, biggest oversight was lack of O-Goshi and Harai-Goshi (spelling?)

Very deep coverage on a few throws but seems repetitious, but it is a very good set. The dvd 's seem to be un organized though.

I agree with everything above. The set is very much worth getting for any style or system, it'll help you figure out how to use your throws for real. The submission section is pretty good too. It is pretty repetitive though, like Karo forgot he already taught you how to release your arm from a clinch.
