A unique look at MMA with an Aikido perspective in mind! I enjoyed this series!

Certainly a unique perspective. Delucia has trained in Aikido, Kung Fu, and Shootfighting. I question how well some of this stuff would work in modern MMA, but with unconventional fighters like Machida, Aoki, and Imanari gaining popularity, it might be worth a look.

Bought the series recently. I have to say that the approach taken by Mr Delucia is refreshing. However, this is not the best instructional DVD on Aikido. The target audience is also probably not exisitng Aikido practitioners/students but other martial artists looking to incorporate Aikido techniques. In my opinion, if you are looking for an instructional series, covering basics to latter levels, you need to have a look at the series from Nishio Sensei. Cheers!
