With 2 legendary teachers, Jigoro Kano (Judo) and Morihei Ueshiba (Aikido), Kenji Tomiki Shihan was a disciple with incredible lineage.
What Shihan Tomiki, who also has the face of a university professor, aimed for was the establishment of a scientific and objective training method for Aikido.
While typically only trained kata style, Tomiki Shihan emphasized the importance of randori (free sparring) within Aikido.
