DVD 1: "A Martial Foundation for Baguazhang" shows circle walking, postures and stepping methods as well as palm striking and kicking techniques. It should give you a reasonable grasp of how and why the system works and enable you to "make your training your own." I've always felt that if you want to get good at something, you need to know why you're doing it.
DVD 2: "Sun Style Baguazhang" shows the 10 Sun Style Palm Changes as described in Sun Lutang's book, plus plenty of combat applications
About the instructor:
Joanna Zorya, Has been studying Chinese Martial Arts since 1996. She has been a student of Taiji, Bagua, Xingyi, Praying Mantis Kung Fu and Silat and Escrima. Although she adheres strictly to Tai Chi movement principles, she often takes an unorthodox approach to training and teaching, the material she teaches is true classical Kung Fu technique in every way, adhering diligently and in precise detail to the Chinese Systems' Methods of power generation and applied martial strategy.
Joanna shows her patience and ability to teach in these videos. Obviously the more familiar you are with the circle walk the easier the footwork seems. However the locks and throws shown are very similar to those in other martial arts and helped me with my favorite Aikido techniques
