Aikido is a very effective Martial Art for the defense, but to be effective we must practice it of a short, forceful and effective form. Why study forty movements when it is enough with a single one? Aside from a loss of time, we are prolonging our vulnerability and we allowed our adversary to restore the balance to attack itself again. Prepared for any situation, any reaction of the adversary, you train with hardness, not with force, and without fear of pain. With this approach, Alfonso Longueira, 8th Dan of Aikido presents his new work to us: grabs, kicks, punches, randori, old kicks and movements, many of them not included in the program of present Aikido, but in the method Longueira Ryu.
