Daito-Ryu Aiki Bujutsu, volume Two (Used Copy)

This being a used copy, I was expecting highlighting and such, and the first 31 pages dealing with History and Lineage were circled and highlighted. Did not detract from the rest of the book however.
The next segment of the book dealt with aiki-ness, Projection and Breathing. It covered the basics of what I know from Chinese Qigong basics as using the various elements, Water, Earth, the Tanden, or Dan-Tian, Inhale and exhalation to generate the pre heaven; Small Micro-cosmic breathing circuit, and then the post heaven; Large Macro-cosmic orbit. Then using breathing methods along with Yi and Xin, seated meditation, and water drop energy to use for rooting, and gathering Earth energy. Breathing up the Governing Vessel and then Exhaling down the Conception Vessel. Those methods are covered on pages 32-58. Page 60 starts off with a nice Kaiten Nage throw, and then 28 techniques of slamming and jamming until page 116, technique #29 against an opponent with a tanto, who is intent on helping you commit seppuku! Of course these techniques are all about transactional analysis; They want to give (attack) you something you do not want, and you just re-gift it back to them. Technique #30 on page 118 is all about getting attacked by someone with a tanto, and you wind up stripping them of the weapon, and introducing the face of the attacker to the face plant in the concrete maneuver. These types of weapon attacks go on until technique #38, when they bring out the Katanas and play the "There can be only one" game until technique #42 on page 142, then it is back once more to Tantoville for one technique. Then they get into scenarios against 2 attackers on page 144 (Tech #43) through technique #45. There is a lot more fun to be had, but I won't be a spoil-sport and bore you with the details. It is a great volume, and I recommend it highly.
