Rare imported book on Daito Ryu Aikijujutsu.
This fine manual shows a wide variety of joint locks, and throws, as well as defensive maneuvers against one who is armed with a Tanto. I also like the way in which it presented the articulation of the wrist joint, the metacarpals, the phlanges, the range of motion that the wrist is capable of. Additionally it details the pronation and supination of the forearm as it relates to the wrist. The pictures accompanying the text are clear and concise, and a breeze to follow along with. Roughly 65 techniques are covered in all; from standing, seated, facing, rear facing, bear hugs, shoulder grabs, 1 against 2 opponents, and much much more. 3 pages had minor, neatly done, yellow highlighting, but that did not detract from the overall value in terms of price, nor in the valuable knowledge contained within. Great addition to my martial arts library. 5 stars in my opinion.
