These premium gi belts are made of high quality gi material. Not only does this give the belts a nice look, but it also means more friction to keep the belt tied and more durability so it lasts through years of abuse!
The premium gi belts come in the following colors: blue, purple, brown, and black.
Kaizen Belt Size Chart
I’ve had blue and purple Kaizen belts that held up well so I purchased a brown one. It arrived with about a two inch area that had most of the stitching unraveled. The area where the black patch is was not stitched the way the previous belts had been. It just had black fabric loosely wrapped around the belt and secured with one seam of stitching. Not sure how that is supposed to hold up. It wasn’t a defect. Just a poor design decision because my other belts were not made that way. The quality had obviously gone south since my last belt purchase. I submitted a request for a refund by emailing customer service three different times. I finally got a response that said they would send a replacement belt if I submitted them a pic of the defect. I sent them a pic. No response after that even though I have sent follow up emails. Good luck if you decide to purchase this belt. Once I came to the realization that I was stuck with an unraveling Kaizen belt I decided to purchase a gi material belt from from Kataaro. I’m very happy with that belt and the quality is top notch. Customer service is amazing as well.
Best belt on the market in my opinion. Delivered fast too
This belt is fantastic. It's beautifully constructed, super durable thanks to the gi material (instead of regular cotton). This belt is slightly wider than your typical bjj belt (about 2"). It will take a few wash-and-wears to break in this belt. In the meantime, I suggest giving this belt an extra half-twist when you finish tying the square knot in front.
