FINALLY we have an excellent introduction to SAMBO written in English by an excellent exponent of the sport.

Reilly takes the reader through the rules, tactics, and techniques of Sambo with clear explanations and well photographed demonstrations. I own every book I could find printed in English (and several in Russian) and this absolutely the best book to introduce someone to Sambo.

Coach Reilly is a student of Master of Sport Stephen Koepher of the American Sambo Association and has been a standout champion competitor for many years in many major tournaments. Here he proves that he is as outstanding a coach as he is an athlete.
