Format:	DVD NTSCNTSC is the standard video format used in North America and parts of Asia. This DVD will play on any standard DVD player in North America or other country where NTSC is used. Most relatively new DVD players have the ability to convert signals from NTSC to PAL or vice versa. We sell NTSC and PAL DVDs to customers all over the world on a daily basis without much problem. this is an awesome dvd on wrestling. if you are a fan of it & want to learn it, this is a good place to start. the instruction is top notch & the production values on this this only makes the instruction that much better. The quality of the footage is a step up from the usual dvds being shot as this has almost the same production style of 10th Planet All Stars dvd as in the camera work, not the techniques. & by that i mean the camera does a very nice job of covering mr. johnson's techniques as he demonstrates them. overall this is a def worthy investment to your dvd collection & you will not be disappointed.

Long:

Overall: Just got this the other day and finally finished watching all of it. An excellent excellent instructional (yes, double double, like it was a date date, not a friendly date) dvd. I'm a bjj guy and decided to get this to supplement my knowledge and training. As the first to KJ's instructional series, this is very well done. KJ starts you off at kindergarten and assumes you know nothing, building concept upon concept, starting in simple things to more complex things. Bits of humor are injected here and there so it makes for a nice break in between the technical info.

Instruction: Alluded to this in the overall paragraph but to reiterate that instruction is top notch. Kenny assumes you know nothing and explains terms and provides explanations. Attention to detail is very specific, giving you examples of what to do, what is correct and what not to do.

Camera Work: This one was so tough to rate. This is the first instructional I've seen that did the presentation "right". Instructor and assistant are in solid opposing colors against an all white background (mats are white, walls are white). I don't know how many other instructionals where guys are in black filming against a black/dark background (I won't name names). The reason this is an A- and not A+ is that some of the examples are shown from only 1 angle. I prefer to see a front (high level) view, maybe a 45 or side view and sometimes a top view. This is my only critique.

Value: For $50, this is a steal. You couldn't get into a seminar of this caliber for less than $60 (and 60 is dirt cheap) and that's a one time thing, with a purchase of this instructional you can watch again and again.
