$229? Kimono prices are out of control! I can get a HCK single that will out last this kimono and probably the apocalypse for alot less of my hard earned money. If you saw the actual prices the companies pay for the product versus their mark up you'd be sick.

I love training with this gi. The crotch area is unique and works well when rolling. The Japanese embroidering are placed in great areas and without too much attention. From the fit to the looks....it's a gi with a lot of class. I appreciate the humbleness of this gi. Great gi for my BJJ journey.

The quality does not match the price. I have had this Gi for about 5 months now, and a lot of loose threads are appearing on both seams and embroidery. The stitching is not very good. Also, the drawstring in the pants has so much friction that is is impossible to use, I had to replace it to tie my pants effectively. The small patch on the lower part of the lapel is only printed, and the print comes of when easy. Mine is just a black patch now...

The other people on this thread who dislike this gi are out of their minds.
I have been training BJJ since 1997 and this is the best gi I have ever wore. I own 2 of them and have no reason to buy another kind. The material is a thick ripstop so it is more durable than normal ripstop and good for both winter and summer wear. I have had my first one for over 6 months and wash AND DRY my gi after ever class. My pants drawstring stays tied and everything fits perfect with little shrinkage.
