Ryuseikan Batto-do (Way of the dragon star sword) was founded by master swordsman Mitsuhiro Saruta in Sakai city, Japan in the late 1980's. Compiling techniques from several schools of Iaido, Batto-do and Kendo, Saruta sensei formulated a complete sword martial art that balances the necessary elements of forms, sparring, and test cutting. This new sword art quickly became prominent in the sword community in Japan and has spread to several other countries around the world.

Format:	DVD NTSCNTSC is the standard video format used in North America and parts of Asia. This DVD will play on any standard DVD player in North America or other country where NTSC is used. Most relatively new DVD players have the ability to convert signals from NTSC to PAL or vice versa. We sell NTSC and PAL DVDs to customers all over the world on a daily basis without much problem. Occasionaly there are a few customers with older set top DVD players that cannot do a signal conversion. If you have any doubts about the ability of your DVD player to properly convert the signal, please referance your manufacturer's instruction manual. Because a computer is neither PAL nor NTSC, you should have no problem playing an NTSC or PAL DVD on your computer.
