I just bought this Gi, the new GB Gi is by far the best Gi on the GB Market, if your apart of the GB Family or just want to train get this gi, this gi is Lite & comfortable has a solid fit even the new drawstring is better.

Ditto on the previous review. This is the best official GB gi available in the US (the best being the Shiroi ones in Brazil). Fit, fabric and workmanship are improved. The extra stitching Budo Jake mentioned is probably due to my Signature Gi falling apart there after one wash (Budovideos took care of it). Bravo! Well done!

very light gi. doesn't really shrink much though, i wear an a3 and it shrank up a little bit but not much after 4 washes and 2 trips through the dryer. i'm guessing it will probably shrink up over time. the patches are sewn on way better than the last gb gis and they are smaller and more tasteful and also don't bunch up from shrinkage. i like this gi.

To its credit, the gi is lighter and softer than the ones previous. I wear an A3, am 6'0 200lbs. this gi shrank to A2 size after 2 washes and dries. Definitely a slimmer cut and after shrinkage, skinny jeans status. Leg patch came undone first roll on the mat. After a recent wash, the drawstring cord did a weird thing where the internal cords popped through the outer weaving, creating a loop in the cord. I see GBwear is trying to make forward improvements with the design, but cheap materials and workmanship are still exposed.
