The Victory Belt Publishers have once again delivered a potent combination of substance and celebrity!

This MMA Instruction Manual is exactly what was needed as a follow up to the classic "Striking" MMA Instructional previously released by Victory Belt. The book is loaded with techniques on the various phases that an MMA match can take on from the Clinch to the Ground; and everything in-between.

This edition demonstrates not only Anderson Silva's mastery over close quarter fighting skills, it also demonstrates the depth of understanding that Victory Belt's author's possess as well. The book's structure is similar to other Victory Belt publications, in that, each chapter is photographed and detailed in a progressive manner, combined with the dual-angled photography that enthusiasts like myself have come to know and love.

Being a huge Anderson Silva fan, I also have the complimentary Anderson Silva videos, also from Victory Belt; and I must contend that they're the finest on the market, and therefore I strongly recommend them in addition to the books.

After reading the first book, which is dedicated to Striking, I was left with a number of questions regarding what would take place after the Clinch was set-up and attempts were made or were successful in taking the fight to the floor. Well, all of those questions and more were thoroughly answered by this book. This book, along with the first one, should be considered required reading for all MMA practitioners, enthusiasts and fans that are interested in blending a complete "Top to Bottom" game.

In closing, I have to say that Victory Belt and their authors have once again done the Martial Arts community a huge service with this follow up.
