Awesome gi! I'm 5'10, 205 lbs, bought an A3 and it fits PERFECTLY! The Patchwork (if you like patches) are "sexy" too. lol. Easily the best looking Fuji gi on the market. The Pearl weave is slightly lighter than a gold weave but still strong and extremely comfortable. The gi fits like a well tailored suit. I bought my son the blue Fuji BJJ gi for Christmas and the quality for the price is just incomparabile. Can't go wrong with Fuji, best value on the market, in my opinion. Planning on getting my older son a Fuji Kassen in blue sometime soon...

Well, it's a good looking gi for sure, and the price is attractive, but I have not purchased one. I compete and there's no point in buying a gi that is not legal. Yesterday I asked Alvaro Mansur (the head referee for the IBJJF) if this gi was legal. He took one look at the picture and said "No". I believe the issue is the patch around the cuff of the left leg on the pants. I don't understand why the Atama Mundial #5 (discontinued) has been allowed and this gi is not, perhaps the rules about patch locations have changes and the Atama Mundial #5 is now illegal. IBJJF rules mandate patches must be at least 15 cm from the bottom of the pants. The IBJJF is much more forgiving with kids tournaments, maybe white belts, but I suspect blue belt and up you will not pass gi inspection at an IBJJF tournament.

I love this gi, but it is not holding up as good as my Fuji Victory. After nine months of rolling in the gi once or twice a week, the collar has several frays in it, there are loose threads all over the gi and around the patches. The gi looks great and fits great, but I will not not be buying another one.
