Rolled in these for the first time today and thought they were pretty decent. There is a lot of stitching on these shorts though, meaning a lot of opportunity for failure. A few loose threads were hanging off when they got to me, but I clipped them off. Shorts haven't given me reason to question their durability yet, but I would venture a guess and say that these are not going to be as bullet-proof as my Sinisters. These short are also not the lightest: there's a lot of material. The fabric itself has an odd feel to it, not necessarily bad, however I didn't feel a difference on the mat. Embroidery seems solid: better than my Warriors. The rubbery material on the waistband seemed like it worked to keep the shorts on, even when I had the drawstring untied. Don't even think about putting these in the dryer though: the heat will for sure degrade and crack that rubber.

best shorts ive ever had! its true as the above reviewer mentioned the material has a weird feel but you dont notice it once they are on. they are a little bit heavier then my other sprawl shorts. but by far the best shorts ive have had! very durable. look great! stay tied dont slip, plenty of room to move and thro high kicks but dont look baggy. excellent shorts. alot of other companies sell board shorts and call them fight shorts. im glad sprawl knows the difference and actually sells fight shorts! love the stretch panels and split seam and the elastic waist.
