Rating: I decided to throw down the forty bucks for these cuz I had nothing better to spend my money on, So here goes. First off the support, They fit very nice and are alot thicker than your standard Thai ankle supports, Im not sure if they were intending to do so but they do a great job. Next the stitching seems well done I guess Ill find out more on that later. The grip, This works quite well I have not had a traction problem since wearing these. Ordered the L/XL I am 72" and 215lbs. They fit nicely. If they were a little cheaper I would give them a 5 out of 5.

Rating: Way too expensive. Surf booties have way more material and way more technology for the same price. I Bought a Large and a Medium and the Large fits in the length of the foot but the width is a little big especially in the ankle, almost baggy so if you've got skinny legs don't get the Large. The Medium fits well in the width but it's too short in the length. Both have the tendency to ride up the foot away from the toes and don't protect from mat burn which is why I bought'em. Both sizes did however grip very well and were very comfortable when they didn't ride up. There are two ways Hayabusa could fix the problem I noted. They could either make the neoprene at the toe end really long and welded without stitching so that the buyer could cut it themselves to a custom length or add a big toe loop so it doesn't ride up. A really good start to what could be a great product and they might work for some but for now I'm gonna have to try the grapple sock or go back to tape.

Rating: Way too expensive. Logos and the foot things that are used not to slip peeled off after a month. Like Sab [guy on top] says; get surf booties or regular ankle supports, they work the same. It's only pricey because it says HAYABUSA.

Rating: First pair of foot grips. I guess I just prefer to go barefoot.

Rating: They looked really cool until wearing them for one night of Kenpo and BJJ class. Nearly half of the "grips" (red dots) rubbed off after 1-2 hours of training. Please sign in to add your own review. |
