These DVDs are actually surprisingly good. Surpassed my expectations, I searched up some information on Tony Cecchine and he doesn't have the best reputation. So I didn't have high expectations, but I was proven wrong.

He is a methodically teacher and shows you No BS. Sometimes he tells some crude humor in the videos, which lightens up the seriousness of "hooking" someone.

These DVD's are highly informative, Very good street and self defense applications for grappling arts.

Recommended for BJJ enthusiasts who is interested in the self defense aspect and adding unorthodox techniques to their grappling.

an ok set. his other set the lost of hooking is much better bc this set is all for "self defense". but alot of the stuff here i wouldnt want to use on the street. im not going to try to suplex a guy on the street. and his philosophy of not striking while on the ground bc its to hard to hit someone so you should just go for submissions or rips(fish hooking, eye gouging etc) i didnt like. if a strike is avaiable to you u should take it! it may not
KO the guy but its not gona make him happy either. id rather use the stuff on his other set the lost of hooking for self defense. altho the lost art of hooking info may be all sport legal its still in my opinion better for street use then much of the stuff he shows here. if yr a fan of tony c get this set. if not skip and get his lost art of hooking set. i know tony is a very controversial guy. some people think hes a fraud, and some people think he great. i think he very good! but this set is lacking.
