"Fight Quest follows fighters Jimmy Smith and Doug Anderson as they travel the world in search of a good fight."

This video follows the same line as Human Weapon and will definitely please fans of that show.

In the opinion of this reviewer the producers of this show often found higher caliber practitioners to test their hosts and so I rate this show more highly than its competitor.

I think most will be pleased to see people like Rickson, Royler and 'Megaton' showing up in the BJJ sequence which will be a highlight for many. Their terrible ill-treatment at the hands of the krav maga practitioners never fails to get a mention by those watching the series also. Watching them participate in traditional shaolin training followed by a sanda/sanshou competition was a personal highlight for myself.

A series meant to educate while entertaining, the hosts do excellent jobs at explaining their real experiences while being respectful to the arts and cultures they encounter.

Once again an excellent value for the money.

Agreed with the reviewer above that this was slightly better than the History Channel's Human Weapon series, though I believe both serve as a good introduction to the world of martial arts for the average viewer. Being originally from Rio, I particularly liked the BJJ episode. I hope there is another season.

This tv show it’s awesome, each chapter shows a different martial art from two perspectives: the ancient style of preparation and the modern style. At the end of each episode both show hostesses (Doug Henderson & Jimmy Smith) face a fight with two authentic experts of the discipline reviewed during the episode. Please buy this video I recommend you the following episodes (those are the best): Boxing (México), Street Fight (USA – watch a KO in the final fight) and Muay Thai (Philippines).

Better than Human weapon (except for when the Human Weapon guys went to Legends, CSW, Cung Le, and Forrest for the MMA episode).
