Format:	DVD NTSCNTSC is the standard video format used in North America and parts of Asia. This DVD will play on any standard DVD player in North America or other country where NTSC is used. Most relatively new DVD players have the ability to convert signals from NTSC to PAL or vice versa. We sell NTSC and PAL DVDs to customers all over the world on a daily basis without much problem. Occasionaly there are a few customers with older set top DVD players that cannot do a signal conversion. If you have any doubts about the ability of your DVD player to properly convert the signal, please referance your manufacturer's instruction manual. Because a computer is neither PAL nor NTSC, you should have no problem playing an NTSC or PAL DVD on your computer.

I urge anyone who has intentions on longevity in the art of Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, or any form of Submission Grappling, to STAY AWAY FROM THIS DVD. It was filmed by someone who was never formally trained in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu (was a white belt when filming 95% of these moves), or any legitimate form of Submission Grappling for that matter. The techniques being performed are done incorrectly, with the lack of detail being physically evident for the trained eye to see. You can find each technique being taught on this DVD for free on Youtube.

If your looking for a solid set to base your NoGi Submission Grappling, I suggest: Mario Sperry, Saulo Ribeiro, Marcelo Garcia, Dean Lister, Stephan Kesting. These are world champions, and legitimate instructors in their own rights (as well as holding Black Belts).

Why waste your money on this instructional??? There are so many better instructionals you can get. Ex: Baret Yoshida's book/dvd combo for $25.

This Ari guy is a fraud and a scam artist (check any jiu jitsu message board). So please people, don't buy into this crap.

Ari Bolden is one of the jokes of the Brazilian Jiu-jitsu/Submission Wrestling community. For this price there are much better products out there.

Check out the Submissions 101 website before ordering this product. Ari demonstrates dozens of moves in free clips available there. Often they do not match the way other Brazilian Jiu Jitsu black belts demonstrate the same moves––possibly because Ari is not a Brazilian Jiu Jitsu black belt. The black belt he wears with his BJJ gi is a Japanese Jiu Jitsu black belt, which he admits. Japanese Jiu Jitsu, however, is about as relevant to Brazilian Jiu Jitsu as Kung Fu or Tae Bo. Consider this before deciding to purchase an instructional when there a dozens of videos available from more qualified instructors who do not mislead the public by wearing A Japanese Jiu Jitsu black belt with a Brazilian Jiu Jitsu gi.

Very poor technique,why would someone want to learn from BEGINNER?!?
This guy should not selling his DVDs because he has no bussines teaching grappling! He never formally trained in BJJ or similar grappling art. You can find each technique on Youtube, and if you ask someone who knows something about grappling, you will get the same answer.

wow, i would suggest this as a present for your worst enemy. That said, for himi being a 10th pjj purple shirt he is pretty good. For being a fake blue belt in bjj he is really terrible.

Not only do I suggest not purchasing this DVD set, but I also suggest not watching this DVD set if it were given to you!

Budo Videos should discontinue promotion of this video to maintain their credibility.

This sounds so bad I actually want to see it! It reminds of that "anti grappling" dvd by ..somebody Guitierrez. where he demontrates bjj totally wrong then shows you ways to escape. It was such a joke lol!
