Occasionaly there are a few customers with older set top DVD players that cannot do a signal conversion. If you have any doubts about the ability of your DVD player to properly convert the signal, please referance your manufacturer's instruction manual. Because a computer is neither PAL nor NTSC, you should have no problem playing an NTSC or PAL DVD on your computer.

Other info:	All region DVDRegion Codes are software locks installed on the DVD disc to prevent people from taking advantage of the differential release schedules of movies. Therefore some DVDs manufactured in Japan for example, will not play in DVD players sold in the United states and vice versa.
