Format:	DVD NTSCNTSC is the standard video format used in North America and parts of Asia. This DVD will play on any standard DVD player in North America or other country where NTSC is used. Most relatively new DVD players have the ability to convert signals from NTSC to PAL or vice versa. We sell NTSC and PAL DVDs to customers all over the world on a daily basis without much problem. Occasionaly there are a few customers with older set top DVD players that cannot do a signal conversion. If you have any doubts about the ability of your DVD player to properly convert the signal, please referance your manufacturer's instruction manual. Because a computer is neither PAL nor NTSC, you should have no problem playing an NTSC or PAL DVD on your computer.

It is very hard to give this DVD anything less than excellent, although I was a bit nostalgic for the original "Martial Arts of Distance" beginning from the VHS. But that's just me. It has all of the stuff from the afromentioned video so nothing new there... but what sets it beyond the original one is Hatsumi Sensei himeself. Not trying to be cliche or anything but it seems to me that Soke is actually better NOW than he was 20 years ago if that is possible. When the dvd showed the updated techniques, I had to keep rewinding and slowing the dvd to be able to see what sensei just did. If I had known that the dvd does that for you showing the techniques slowly and from different angles if I just let it play. For you bujinkan guys out there you wont be disappointed... for you not bujinkan guys... a little insight into what kobudo is like.
