This is hands down one of the best dvd sets available. Finally a dvd instructional that really gets into the science of the art and really in depth explanations of body movement to achieve results. Just the best out there right now.

like already stated in all previous posts this is a great dvd. if you want to get a dvd set and don't know what one to get i would recoomend this set to be the first one you ever pick up. it is good for beginners and advanced alike. everyone can pick someting up from it. i can not wait for the second one to come out.

Very good set. Guard Pass prevention, triangle and back attacks were my favorites. I wasn't a huge fan of the counter attacks. But the rest of it was great. I like the overall concept of the set and Demian illustrating where principles of head and limb control and hip movement fit into all of the common techniques in BJJ. I would definitely like to see more from Demian, especially on passing the guard.

Have seen the 1st Volume and was very impressed. This guy really knows his stuff and can explain well. I would recommend this to anyone at any level. Wow!

Here is a great way to understand WHY Demain mows thru everybody in the UFC. Strong Jiu Jitsu dvd with the focus on the fundamentals to leverage! Great job Mr. Maia!
