Rather then a step-by-step how-to video, this presentation conceptualizes and names some of those ideas that we previously had about judo but never quite expressly identified. But now here they are in your edition of Star Power Judo. After viewing this tape, parents should have a better idea of what they want to support in their children’s training. Coaches will have to turn their direction to different drills and training methods needed to build their future champions. This presentation shows numerous video samples of international and Olympic championships. Many of the clips are replayed in slow motion and eloquently explained by Mr. Hayward Nishioka. Power Judo 2: Python Judo (Advanced Matwork) DVD
Through this presentation, we bring to you novel mat techniques not normally found in judo textbooks. Some of these moves are more popular then others, in which case a competition video scene will preclude the actual demonstration of that move. Other techniques are not as well utilized or have not been captured on DVD, but that doesn’t preclude them from being potentially effective or eventually successful. In the end, it is the judokas themselves who make or break the technique. It is the judokas themselves who are prepared so they will have the advantage. Are you prepared or unprepared? Power Judo 3: Get a Grip DVD
This superb DVD shows the secrets of using the proper grips in elite Judo competition. The key elements are detailed explanations of how and why to use the different gripping methods and how to break and counter them to turn the table on your opponent. The techniques are shown being executed in actual competition for a better appreciation of their use under a real sport situation. Sensei Hayward Nishioka explains the important points in the execution of the proper grip under specific circumstances. This is not only a great instructional DVD, but an inspiring one. It is a true gem for all grapplers, regardless of style (Judo, Sanbo, Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, etc…) Watch it and decide for yourself.

Superb approach!!! Indredibly encouraging DVD, great production for its time. It's a pity it wasn't available to the public earlier as it should clearly have been. The last part, the "What's the score?" goodie is a little confusing though, but who cares? it still rocks!!! I highly recommend this DVD set.
