These type of shorts are fantastic. The friction of the gi material has really changed how much I can play guard in nogi. I've never had a problem using them at tournaments either.

I totally love these shorts just as the others have. Something not mentioned is that the gi material in the crotch\front is great for quickly wiping away sweat as well as for grip.

these shorts are awesome!!! 1: cut perfect, my butt looks great in them. 2: i hate split seams usually, but these ones are not bad? 3: CONSTRUCTION!!! these baby's are like armour, yet very comfortable. the gi material looks & feels great. i would buy another pair, for sure! i'm an MMA trainer and i'm seriously contemplating making them our team practice AND fight shorts! i already put a small GB patch on the leg and i'm taking them to get embroidered with our team name & logo. the only problem is that the gi material only comes in white...blood & coffee have already stained them :( i'm hoping for a black on black color scheme?
