GRACIE JIU-JITSU INTERMEDIATE is designed to build on the foundation established in the Basics series. Students who practice and learn what is shown in the BASICS and INTERMEDIATE series could qualify to be examined for a blue belt at the Gracie Jiu-Jitsu Academy in Torrance, CA.

Vol 1: ATTACKS FROM THE MOUNT - FRONT AND BACK: The mount is the most advantageous position in a fight. In this tape, you will learn devastating finishing holds that will enable you to effectively capitalize on this position. Also, you will be surprised how many opponents will turn on their stomach when trying to escape from the mounted position. Royce and Rorion show you how to easily finish your opponent when this happens.

Vol 2: ATTACKS AND REVERSALS FROM THE GUARD: Many people mistakenly assume that the man on his back during a ground fight is at a disadvantage. They are wrong. There is no such thing as a bad position if you know what you are doing. This tape will show you what to do, even against a much bigger and stronger opponent.

Vol 3: OFFENSE AND DEFENSE FROM THE CROSS MOUNT: Once the fight goes to the ground, the cross mount is a very common position. Royce and Rorion show you an arsenal of techniques they use to train police officers and military elite. They also show you how to defend against your opponent if you find yourself on the bottom.

Format:	DVD NTSCNTSC is the standard video format used in North America and parts of Asia. This DVD will play on any standard DVD player in North America or other country where NTSC is used. Most relatively new DVD players have the ability to convert signals from NTSC to PAL or vice versa. We sell NTSC and PAL DVDs to customers all over the world on a daily basis without much problem. Occasionaly there are a few customers with older set top DVD players that cannot do a signal conversion. If you have any doubts about the ability of your DVD player to properly convert the signal, please referance your manufacturer's instruction manual. Because a computer is neither PAL nor NTSC, you should have no problem playing an NTSC or PAL DVD on your computer.
