Eddie Bravo's insight into Jiu-jitsu is must read-absorb learning material!

Author: Brian Espinosa

Like Eddie's previous book, well detailed and full of information.

Author: John Valentine

This book will change your entire view of how to apply submissions. For me it was it motivated me so much where I began to stretch immediatly. It's also very entertaining reading his views on life and jiu jitsu. Great book and the knowledge you will gain will make you continue to reference this book over and over again.

Imho, the best no-gi grappling book ever produced. Full of innovation and loaded with detail. This isn't just a set of moves and positions, it's a fully functioning gameplan. Eddie lays out his entire guard-game strategy for all to see.

The most detailed breakdown of the rubber guard available. Tons of info at a great price.

Wonderful no gi book. Just beautifully put together. Lots of technique detail and strategy. Surpassed only by his Rubber guard DVD.

One of the better no gi instructional books. Besides the cheesy weed smoking intro the rest is all great guard and half guard info. I like the chain move layout in the book move A leads to move B leads to move C. Really good book

My first nogi instructional book and it's awesome all by itself, but you should pair it with the 3 DVD set for a complete guide to Eddie's system.

Like every Victory Belt's book, Mastering the Rubber Guard has accurate explanations, high quality paper and clear, precise and from different angles photographs. Although you don't like Eddie's system or think it's not the best system, it's very convenient that you know it, because probably a lot of your training partners or competition adversaries are yet learning it. The half guard, butterfly guard and escapes to guard sections are my favorites (I think every grappler can learn something from them)

Its very good...although I am not one of those people that think 10th planet is the be all supreme version of BJJ...its very good and unorthodox

Top notch material where a whole system is laid out. Learn even the first few techniques, and you'll wonder why nobody has been teaching Jiu Jitsu this way. Revolutionary!

Great no-gi instructional book. Anyone who is interested in the rubber guard style should check this out.

Together with "Mastering the Twister" a book anyone that compete in submission wrestling shouldnt be without. Regardless if you subscribe to the tenth planet system or not, a good deal of the competition out there do so its a good idea to familiarize youself with the backbone of the system even if you dont want to take it all the way to Shinya Aoki-level flexibility and rubberguardprofiency.
-A definitive mustbuy!!

This is by far my favorite martial arts instructional book ever! The production quality of the Victory Belt Series is light years ahead of other books! They are very easy to follow given that they show multiple angles and give thorough explanations of what you are seeing. This book covers various aspects of the bottom position including half-guard, butterfly guard, obviously the rubber guard and transitions in between. Eddie also covers training for the flexibility needed to pull off some of these techniques. Great buy!

I used this book and I have improved my game ten fold! I now look for any way to get to half guard, sweep, take side conrol and dominate my opponents now. I recomend this book to anyone who is looking for a different approach to their game.
