The video covers exiting and dangerously effective leglocks, but from contrived positions hardly ever encountered in competition jiu-jitsu. The only techniques that would be useful to a bjj practicioner are the takedowns into leglocks, whick were great, but other than those the video only offers poorly arranged innuendos into random techniques by an awkwardly camera shy instructor. Mechanical and poorly arranged.

You won't find a more in depth series on leg locks. I gotta agree with the previous review, a lot of the submissions seem like they'd be hard to get on an unwilling opponent and I've never ended up in some of the weird positions they show them from. But if you're into leg locks, this is set for ya. There's hundreds and I have applied quite a few in matches!

This is, in my opinion, the best work on leglocks available. Yes there are several that are low percentage, but the foundation for a leglock game leaps out of these dvds. I actually like that he covers not only bread and butter basics but also more exotic stuff, as those strange positions and locks come up from time to time when legs are entangled. The dvds also contain recounters that I think run about 2-4 moves deep most of the time, i.e. you do this, he does this, you do this, he does this, you do this -> win. I can't say enough good about this set, I HIGHLY recommend it. I bought it when I was new and still go back to watch it after 2+ years of owning it.

lots of leg locks! and then even more leg locks! great leg locks with a gi set! not for anyone knew to leg locks. if you know the basic leg locks and are looking to learn more this is the set to buy.
