An instructional DVD demonstrating the punching and clinching techniques of San Da, also known as Chinese kickboxing. Both neck and body clinching, to throw and to strike, are covered on this one hour and 45 minute DVD filmed during a seminar.

San Da, also known as San Shou, originates 80 years ago with the Chinese military. San Da is both a curriculum designed to develop fighting skills quickly and efficiently.

In China, they say San Da has four skills; "ti"
is to kick, "da" is to strike, "Shuai" is to throw, and "na" refers to joint locks and chokes, what we today call submissions. The San Da fighter is a well rounded, complete fighter, and San Da training methods and concepts can benefit all martial artists, regardless of the system they practice.

This DVD introduces the viewer to San Da punches and clinches in a simple format that explains and demonstrates these techniques.

Sifu David A Ross is the founder of San Da Training Systems, head coach at NY San Da Gym and has trained 3 world and 16 national champions.
