In Police Safety and Survival 1, the emphasis is on use of the kubaton, pressure point striking, handgun retention and handgun disarming. Learn to use hard and soft pressure point techniques against both active and passive resisters. Use the sympathetic nervous system to create involuntary reactions ranging from a creating distance or distracting a suspect or to momentarily disabling him. The second portion of the DVD covers retention of the handgun both in and out of the holster and disarming techniques in the event that a suspect gains control of the officer's handgun or if the unarmed officer finds himself facing a weapon at close range.

Format:	DVD NTSCNTSC is the standard video format used in North America and parts of Asia. This DVD will play on any standard DVD player in North America or other country where NTSC is used. Most relatively new DVD players have the ability to convert signals from NTSC to PAL or vice versa. We sell NTSC and PAL DVDs to customers all over the world on a daily basis without much problem. Occasionaly there are a few customers with older set top DVD players that cannot do a signal conversion. If you have any doubts about the ability of your DVD player to properly convert the signal, please referance your manufacturer's instruction manual. Because a computer is neither PAL nor NTSC, you should have no problem playing an NTSC or PAL DVD on your computer.
