This book provides some applications for basic karate techniques which are generally more useful than the garbage that's usually taught. The authors also give an application for selected kata combinations.
I would have liked to have seen more detail on revival techniques. This section is too brief.
Dillman also has an annoying habit of including photos of himself with celebrities. It's shameless self-promotion and a waste of space.
A useful book but don't buy into the idea that pressure points will solve all your problems. It's just another tool in the toolbox. Keep your other material sharp, especially your evasive footwork. Always be aware of a potential follow-up attack by the attacker. Don't bet all your money on hitting a particular pressure point or getting the desired effect if you do. Many times the defender in the photos leaves himself/herself dangerously exposed to further attack while they seek to apply their pressure point strike.
