This is a great set discussing all ranges of the fight game, as well as giving numerous drills and variations to really utilize the techniques you learn. He shows a lot of unique submissions from weird positions I've never been in and I'm not sure how anyone could actually get to that position in the first place. Also, he shows a lot of small joint or complex submissions which just don't seem practical against someone who knows what their doing on the ground.

Take your training to the next level! Hatmaker gives you lots of tools to play with. The striking chains have improved my defense and counter-punching, the takedown material has given me some options from the double-leg, and the submission section has let me catch people with holds they never saw coming!

I think hatmakers stuff is just garbage. He has some uniqu moves but overall just alot of products churned out to be on the instructional bandwagon. Alot of wierd low percentage stuff as well.

really good! altho if your grappling backround is only bjj you will probly have trouble trying to set up some of these moves. as the 2 above reveiwers were saying. remember hatmaker teaches scientific wrestling aka catch wrestling. and yes its very different style than bjj. the fact that a catch wrestler will never pull guard or go to back puts them in very different positions then you are used to seeing in bjj. great set but yes sum of it is different and may be hard to use if you only know bjj.
