Excellent book! Hatmaker covers striking theory (a must read), boxing shots, "inserts", elbows, kicks, clinching, street strikes, defense, ground-and-pound, and combinations! The book shows a bias of upper-body techniques over kicks, but offers a variety of shots to play with. This book belongs in every martial artist's library.

The author covers a wide variety of practical strikes plus defenses against those same strikes.

This book is of use to all martial artists, whether they're interested in NHB or not.
