Most relatively new DVD players have the ability to convert signals from NTSC to PAL or vice versa. We sell NTSC and PAL DVDs to customers all over the world on a daily basis without much problem. Honestly, this DVD is more for those who believe in the "magical" connotation of traditional martial arts.

I resisted getting this DVD for 5 years for two reasons: 1.I thought this was advanced material. 2. Coming from Aikido, I was frankly tired of "no touch" BS. When I finally got this DVD, I found I was wrong on both accounts. The explanation is very clear and there is material for even total beginners as well as tons of advanced stuff. There is nothing "magical" here (except perhaps the magic of martial art genius.) What is shown here is due to what Mr. Ryabko refers to as "fullness" ie. he is ready and able to strike his partners. They feel this at a deep level and thus Mr. Ryabko can predict and direct their movement. The second point is "support" and "structure" vis a vis the psyche. This is easily understood if you think back to Junior High School and pulling away a chair when someone is about to sit on it. (OK maybe you weren't as mean as I was.) Mr. Ryabko utilizes this concept and takes it to the 100th degree. I see now that this DVD is essential to understand what Systema is. Another note. The word "psychic" is used but seems to only mean "relating to the psyche." Perhaps the producers were then not aware that "psychic" makes people think of esp and the like.
