Format:	DVD NTSCNTSC is the standard video format used in North America and parts of Asia. This DVD will play on any standard DVD player in North America or other country where NTSC is used. Most relatively new DVD players have the ability to convert signals from NTSC to PAL or vice versa. We sell NTSC and PAL DVDs to customers all over the world on a daily basis without much problem. Occasionaly there are a few customers with older set top DVD players that cannot do a signal conversion. If you have any doubts about the ability of your DVD player to properly convert the signal, please referance your manufacturer's instruction manual. Because a computer is neither PAL nor NTSC, you should have no problem playing an NTSC or PAL DVD on your computer.

This video was a wonderful surprise for me. It features upper level techniques captured professionally on film. One can really get a sense of how the lower level waza teach the body movements which are essential to performing these more complex (and more violent)techniques. Two of the demonstrators here have passed on since this film was made making this a more important document capturing one of the more important Daito-ryu groups. The English subtitling on this version of the DVD is an excellent help to the non-Japanese viewer.
