This is a very good video series on the
fundamentals of aikido.
I particularly like this video because of the strong emphasis on ki development, as well as the practical self-defense aspects of aikido.
All the attacks look real (not watered down or "wild")and the development and usage of ki (in practical self-defense) is shown.
I've bought bad videos from Panther Videos before: Hung-Gar Five Animals & 5 Elements, as well as Choy Lay Fut, Crane form were video loops with voice-overs; but Ken Ota's Aikido series and James McNeil's Hsing-I series from Panther Videos are both excellent.

This is my 3rd Aikido series in my collection. I would have given it 4 stars but for the picture quality, which looks a bit grainy. Its solid but not the best out there.
