In 1994, students of Aikido from all over the world gathered in Washington DC to celebrate the 40th anniversary in Aikido of Mitsugi Saotome Sensei - a direct student of Aikido's founder who has become one of the art's most important teachers. Produced by Aikido Today Magazine to record the events, this 75 minute DVD contains footage of four master level teachers: Senseis Mitsugi Saotome, Yoshio Kuriowa, Hiroshi Ikeda and Frank Doran; systematic instruction on various aspects of Aikido by these sensei, and interviews with each sensei. There are some extras from the 1994 celebration and reception given to Saotome sensei.
