This is a good instructional DVD for those interested in authentic Daito ryu. It shows the 1st group's standing techniques. While a difference between this and aikido hits the eye immediately, Mr. Kondo notes that a "uke doesn't take any falls in Daito rye" probably implying that there is no way to take a fall from a technique that was intended as a way to completely and utterly stop an opponent.
