This is an offerring from Okamoto Seiji and advocate of a system which extended from his practise with Kodokai branch of Daito-ryu.

While there is nothing wrong with the DVDs presentation it will appeal to those who are seeking 'aiki' heavy methods of throwing which rely on extremely precise timing and the coordination of one's movement perfectly in the repelling of attacks with a whiplash-like wave movement from the body.

I rate it only as fair because I remain somewhat sceptical as to the actual utility of the material which 'appears' to this reviewer to rely greatly on the participation of the opponent with the throw in order to achieve the results shown on this video.

Having met Okamoto Sensei and feeling his technique, I can attest to the effectiveness. However, It is almost impossible to learn this kind of stuff from video. It is a fantastic collection of basic techniques to have on hand for reference.
