Payment Questions
Payment types
For your convenience, you can order in any of the following five ways:
Online: Orders can be easily and accurately placed online. Online orders
payable with Visa, Master Card, Discover, American Express, Paypal, checks
or money orders. Please note: Orders may be delayed up to 10 business days until
checks/money orders clear our bank. International payments must be converted to
US funds.
Over the phone: We are available to take phone orders at 1-800-451-4828
(If you're outside the US, please call 1-714-899-5200). Our hours are Monday -
Friday from 9am to 6pm and Sat, Sun from 10am to 6pm. Pacific Standard time. Phone orders are payable with
Visa, Master Card, Discover, or American Express.
By fax: You can fax a list of the items you'd like to order, your
shipping and billing addresses and your credit card details to 714-899-5700. Fax
orders are payable with Visa, Master Card, Discover, American Express or Diners
cards.
Bank (wire) transfer: After you add the items you'd like to purchase into
your shopping cart, click checkout and fill in your shipping details. At that
point, the system will calculate the shipping and total price. Then you can
select "Wire Transfer". You will receive an email within 24 hours providing our
bank information for you to transfer the funds.
By mail: After you add the items you'd like to purchase into your
shopping cart, click checkout and fill in your shipping details. At that point,
the system will calculate the shipping and total price. Then you can select
"payment by mail". Mail orders are payable by check or money order. Please note:
Orders may be delayed up to 10 business days until checks to clear our bank.
Money orders ship immediately upon receipt of payment. International payments
must be converted to US funds.

Paying with a check or money order:
To pay with a check or money order, just shop online through the store and when
you check out, fill out your mailing address info and choose Check or Money
order as your Payment method. Your total including shipping and tax if
applicable will be calculated for you. Please print that page and mail it with

Canadian money orders
Sorry, but due to the extreme fees involved with processing Canadian Money
orders - 40% of the dollar figure! - we cannot accept money orders drawn on
Canadian banks. Please send a money order drawn on a U.S. Bank (ex. Chase
Manhattan), send a check marked 'US Dollars', or use Paypal.

Customers in the Southern California can place and order

Return Policy
***All returns are subject to a 10% restocking fee.***
Videos & DVDs
Defective DVDs and Videos - We will accept returns on defective videos and
DVDs for replacement only
PAL DVDs and Region 2 DVDs - If you find your DVDs are incompatible with your
video system, please be advised that we will accept exchanges on unopened items
only. The customer will be responsible for the return shipping back to
Budovideos.com and the shipping for the exchanged item. Please read the item
descriptions thoroughly before ordering or opening your items.
Foreign language DVDs - We make every effort to provide enough information
regarding the language(s) included on videos on DVDS sold on Budovideos.com. If
you have ordered a video that includes a language you are unfamiliar with, you
may return it for store credit only if it has not been opened.
Apparel, Uniforms, Gear & Equipment:
We will accept exchanges on uniforms, apparel, gear & equipment* only under
the following conditions:
Items must be in the original packaging
Items must be clean and free from wear
Items must be unwashed
Any item returned that does not meet the above criteria, will not be eligible
for exchange (i.e. are dirty, smell of cigarette smoke or detergent, covered in
animal dander or deodorant marks, have visible signs of wear, etc...). All
returns or exchanges will be at the discretion of Budovideos.com.
*Due to hygiene concerns, compression shorts, athletic supports & cups,
mouthpieces, products made from lycra (fight shorts,
compression shorts, rashguards, etc..) will not be eligible for return under any
circumstance.
Books, Magazines, Software & Special Order items:
All books, magazines, software, and special order items are non-returnable.
Exchange Information
All returns require a valid Return Authorization Number (RMA).
To request an RMA number please contact us through our website and provide your
Budovideos.com order number with a reason for your return.
Goods returned without an authorization number will NOT be accepted and may be
returned to you at your expense.
Please note that you will be responsible for the return shipment and the
shipping fees for the exchanged item(s).
We recommend sending returns back through a tracked & insured shipping method
(such as UPS or Fed Ex). We are not responsible for returns that are lost or
damaged in the mail.
In store returns must be accompanied by the original receipt.
*** We do not have a satisfaction guarantee policy. If for some reason you
are unsatisfied with the content of a book or DVD, it may not be returned under
any circumstance. ***
Item Questions
Restocking Times
While we make every attempt to keep most items in stock at all times, things do
run out. Rest assured if an item is out of stock, we're already working on
getting it back in. If your item is backordered, check here for an estimate of
how long it may be out of stock.
Domestic products - Normal restock time is about a week. From time to time a
video is delayed due to reprinting (i.e. supplier does not have it). In this
case it can take weeks or months for an item to come back in. We will make note
on these items in such cases when we are informed of extensive delays.
Import products - Popular items usually restock in two weeks. Less popular or
special order items can take a month or more to come in.
Special order items
At this time we are very busy expanding our selection to make Budovideos.com the
best online martial arts video source. If there is something you want that we
don't have, just contact us
here. We'll see if we can special order it for you. Please note,
special orders need to be pre-paid.
Do you carry bootleg, dubbed, or pirated videos?
We do not carry any unlicensed, bootleg, dubbed, or pirated videos. All of the
videos we carry are either the official Japanese releases or licensed domestic
versions.
What does DVD region encoding mean?
In simple English, Region Codes are software locks installed on the DVD disc to
prevent people from taking advantage of the differential release schedules of
movies. Therefore some DVDs manufactured in Japan for example, will not play in
DVD players sold in the United states and vice versa. Japan falls into what is
known as Region 2 and the United States falls into Region 1. If the DVD is
marked as "Region 0" or "Region Free", it will play on any player. If you would
like to view Region 2 DVD's, it is possible to overcome the region encoding by
purchasing a Region Free DVD player, which are very affordable and available all
over the internet or by finding a code to disable the region encoding on your
player. Look at the "Details" on each of our DVDs to see whether your DVD player
is capable of playing the disc. Only a few of our DVDs are region 2. By far, the
majority of our DVDs are all region and will play on any player. If you have
questions or doubts, check your manufacturer's instruction manual or send us an
e-mail and we'll be glad to help out.
What is NTSC? What is PAL?
NTSC and PAL are the two most common television video signals used throughout
the world. Generally, NTSC is used in North America and parts of Asia whereas
PAL is used in Europe and parts of South America. The major difference between
the two is the number of lines the images is made up of and the frame rate.
Most relatively new DVD players have the ability to convert signals from NTSC to
PAL or vice versa. We sell NTSC and PAL DVDs to customers all over the world on
a daily basis without much problem. Occasionally there are a few customers with
older set top DVD players that cannot do a signal conversion. If you have any
doubts about the ability of your DVD player to properly convert the signal,
please reference your manufacturer's instruction manual.
Because a computer is neither PAL nor NTSC, you should have no problem playing
an NTSC or PAL DVD.
I made a video/book/gear. Will you stock it?

Do you buy used items?
We do buy used items in exchange for store credit but this is done on a case by
case basis. Please email the list of items that you would like to sell to
orders@budovideos.com
and we will respond within 48 hours.
Can I use the images on Budovideos.com for my own website?
