The fit of this gi is great. I'm 5'7" and 73 kgs, the pants is ankle height, not long and not too short. No shrinkage so far, and patches are just perfect, not too flashy. Basically, black and navy blue color would fade a bit the longer you roll, so that's ok. I don't get the purple color that the first reviewer is having in his gi. Washed mine with vinegar and salt, maybe just a matter of time? This gi is very comfortable for me, and durable at that! Skirt is not too long. Overall a great gi. Just 4 stars as it's not the greatest gi out there I guess. I bought an Atama and just waiting for it to arrive, maybe it's better.

Great Review by Lorenzo Garcia

I'm 5,7 and about 150lbs. I ordered an A1 and it fits great, even after a few washes (hang dry). The most notable issue is the discoloration. Even though I soaked my Gi top in a water/vinegar (as recommended by Budovideos I think), the lapel of the Gi turned a shade of purple. The body of the Gi stayed a nice Navy Blue. I didn't treat the pants, so they are now purple as well. Not the biggest issue in America, but I now feel it will only be a training Gi - not something that I can compete it. I don't even know if it'll pass the IBJJF color regulations now. Advice: soak both pants and top in perhaps twice the recommended amount of water/vinegar and for a longer period of time. You would think that Vulkan could do this for you before they ship it out as a treatment to "keep" the color. I guess for now, I'll have to rock the two-toned purple/blue Gi :( **on a side note, Vulkan has not responded to my numerous emails about this. So customer service isn't getting high ratings at the moment. This is not a reflection of Budovideos - they have always been great. I don't believe that this is a Budovideos problem. Thanks...
