About the instructor:
Born in 1946 in Okinawa, Takeshi Miyagi holds a 9th degree black belt. After studying Goju-ryu karate, he studied Matsubayashi-ryu karate at the age of 16. At the age of 20, he traveled to Argentina and opened a karate dojo. Here he met Katsuya Miyahir, a teacher ofShorin Ryu Karate and started his career. After that, he traveled to and from Okinawa and Argentina while teaching at his dojo, and while continuing his studies under Miyahira. Currently, he is the director of the headquarters of Okinawa Shorin Ryu Karate Shidokan Tokyo.
