Former UFC Light Heavyweight champion Quinton “Rampage” Jackson looks to get one step closer to regaining the title, but standing in his way is the man who’s beaten former champions Chuck Liddell, and Forrest Griffin: “The Dead of Mean” Keith Jardine. Also on the card is a Heavyweight showdown that could decide the next challenger for either Brock Lesnar or Frank Mir’s UFC Undisputed Heavyweight title.
Quinton “Rampage” Jackson VS. “The Dean of Mean” Keith Jardine
Eddie Bravo black belt and 10th Planet Jiu-Jitsu Dallas Forth Worth, lead instructor Brandon “Never Quit” Quick just wrapped up filming on his all-new 3 DVD set covering no gi chokes. From what we’ve already seen, this will be the most comprehensive set on no gi chokes ever produced. Some of the techniques Brandon covers are:
Gators
Darce
Peruvian Necktie
Reverse Arm Triangle
Arm Triangles
Guillotines
The set is still in it’s early editing stages, and won’t be out until sometime in the Spring, but we can assure you that even those BJJ practitioners completely foreign to 10th Planet will walk away with an all-new arsenal of chokes.

The UFC heads back across the pond to the O2 arena in London, England to bring us their 6th event in 2 months with UFC 95 in which two former “TUF” champions will square off in a lightweight battle that could have future title implications. Also squaring off is Middleweight contender, and former King of Pancrase Nate “The Great” Marquardt taking on the heavy handed Wilson Goveia.
Joe “Daddy” Stevenson vs. Diego “Nightmare” Sanchez
Making is debut at 155lb, Diego “Nightmare” Sanchez is coming off of back to back wins against Luigi Fioravanti and David Bielkheden. Sanchez was scheduled to fight current top Welterweight contender Thiago Alves in October at UFC 90, however Sanchez had to pull out at the last minute due to an injury suffered while training.
Vinicius “Draculino” stopped in earlier this week to shoot his new BJJ technique DVD, and with him he brought fellow Gracie Barra black belt and 5 time world champion Romulo Barral. While we can’t give too much information away about the DVD, we can tell you that it promises to be one of the most interesting, and unique technique DVDs you’re likely to come across. With the amount of techniques we shot the editing will take a little while so the set won’t be available until early Spring, but we can promise you, it’s worth the wait.
